These tickets represent excellent value for money. They are available for most long haul destinations and some medium haul routes

The basic assumption is that you are prepared to go from A to B via C - though not always - On many long haul trips, a stop is made in any event, so the change of aircraft at an intermediate stop is not a great imposition - especially when the savings involved are taken into account.

Other factors to consider to consider are any minimum stay requirements, advance booking and, in some cases, if a Saturday night stay is required (though this mainly applies to North American routes).

The most striking example is Australia. A British Airways "standard" business return to Sydney costs £6,663 plus tax. A First class return, £10,351.00. The same journey may be had with Singapore Airlines for £3,600 plus tax or £4,600  plus tax in First Class. In all cases you have to stop somewhere, so it boils down to a short walk from one aeroplane to another being worth at least £3,000!

Obviously, it is not worth going to a lot of fuss to save £10 by going around the houses to get to, say, Amsterdam. On long and most medium haul routes it usually is worth considering alternatives. There are few downsides to using these fares, availability is usually good and changes are allowed (even if at a fee) and so to are cancellations.

Booking Discounted Business and First Class Tickets:

This is best done the old fashioned way, especially if your itinerary takes in more than one stop. Please call us on 0871 2260160. OR, If you prefer, email your requirements to us and we will send you back a suggested itinerary and fare quotation for you to consider. We will need: Destination(s) and time required in each, approximate departure date, number of passengers and the passenger names. There is no obligation!

You will need to decide how you wish to travel. There are, generally speaking, two ways. A long hop followed by a short journey or a short one followed a long.

In the case of Australasia, this is a little different as the journey is in two, almost equal, legs. European airlines will take you from London to their hub and then on from there - but not all European airlines fly long haul every day.

Flights to the USA can be more difficult to find and are usually more restrictive. This is the main money route for most airlines and they do not like to give anything away. Saturday night restrictions still apply on most discounted tickets, though following the "open skies" agreements, availability has improved.
We have discounted business class airfares and first class airfares to most long and medium haul destinations with nearly all major airlines.  Apply for an account.....
